| North Rosedale Park Garden Tour NORTH ROSEDALE PARK COMMUNITY TAKES LEAD FROM MICHELLE OBAMA'S GARDEN: COMMUNITY TO HOST "GREEN" GARDEN TOUR You are invited to join one of Detroit's premier, historical neighborhoods!! North Rosedale Park will feature eleven diverse gardens at its 2009 Garden Tour on Saturday, July 18, 2009 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tickets are SI0.00 and can be purchased in advance by calling 313-835-1103. Tickets, on the day of the event, may be purchased at the North Rosedale Park Community House located at 18445 Scarsdale, Detroit, MI 48223. As we look to the White House this year for inspiration, our gardens will compliment the original architectural details of the homes in North Rosedale Park. This year's gardens feature a mixture of blooms, organic gardening, garden rooms and much more. "The gardens are another reflection of the pride of this neighborhood! An added feature this year will include hands on classes provided by Master Gardeners on topics such as Container Gardens and Herb Gardening. There will be a nominal fee of $5.00 for two sessions.We are excited about sharing another part of our GREAT community with Detroit and surrounding areas.
