Proposed Changes to the
North Rosedale Park Civic Association Constitution & Bylaws
On May 16, 2011 the membership of the North Rosedale Park Civic Association amended its Constitution & Bylaws. The documents are attached below for your reference. (The document labeled the Restated Articles of Incorporation contains the Constitution) A major change was the restatement of NRPCA's Articles of Incorporation in order to apply to the State of Michigan and the Internal Revenue Service for 501(c)(3) non-profit status. If approved, this will allow tax deductible contributions to NRPCA, which will improve its ability to raise funds for renovations to the Community House and grounds, as well as assist future membership campaigns. The application process for 501(c)(3) non-profit status is in progress, and it is likely that a determination will not be known until late in 2011. This information will be shared as soon as it is received.
