The North Rosedale Park Community House and grounds have served us well as a focal point for community events for over 80 years. They’ve quietly aged and are in need of major repair and renovation in order to effectively serve North Rosedale Park and our surrounding neighborhoods. In short, their time has come.
The Detroit Collaborative Design Center at the University of Detroit Mercy is assisting the North Rosedale Park community with developing a conceptual design for the renovation of the Community House and grounds. On April 14, 2011 the Design Center presented information they received from a Neighborhood Engagement Workshop held on March 31, with representatives of the many stakeholders who use these facilities.
Your feedback is critical to the success of this project. One avenue for input will be a journal that will reside in the Community House for everyone to express their opinions on future directions.
