The Community House is located in the heart of North Rosedale Park and brings our neighborhood together. It is used on a regular basis by the Civic Association for community activities and rented by such groups as the Scouts and the Park Players. The six acre "Park" surrounding the Community House has a playground, a baseball diamond and three soccer fields. Residents take advantage of the Park's safe and beautiful environment for walking and jogging. In winter, the two soccer fields are flooded for ice skating. This is the largest privately owned park in Detroit.

The building and surrounding park are owned by the North Rosedale Park Civic Association. Maintenance and improvement of the grounds are paid through Civic Association dues and rental of the Community House.

The Community House is a historic and unique place to hold your business and social events or memorial services. To rent the Community House for your next event, contact the Building Manager at 313-837-3416. In addition to the rental fee, we require a $125 security deposit (refundable) and $25 application fee (non-refundable). Rental information is subject to change without prior notice.
